Vintage 1950s Blue Leather Billfold Wallet w Ricky Nelson

Beautiful Robin’s Egg Blue leather wallet is new in the box. Never used. I don’t think it’s ever been folded. This timeless style has 32 plastic picture windows, Removable Passcase (?) , Magic Coin Purse (a slit in the top allows you to insert coins without opening the flap), and best of all it has a paper photo of Ricky Nelson........the biggest heart throb of 1958 (sorry Elvis).

But I doubt that he endorsed the autograph (since it says Rickie instead of Ricky...LOL) Marketing scams were a bad in the 50’s as they are today. But the photo really does help us dte the wallet to the late 50’s or very early 60’s.

The Warranty states that : Materials selected for the construction of this product are as follows; For the outside cover, high quality Leather of the particular type stamped on this article. (In this case it says Top Grain Cowhide). For the partitions and linings, high count acetate fabric, pyroxylin, suede or vinyl coated material.

The only flaw I find is where the snap from the flap has laid against the gold trim on the coin purse and has scratched it a bit. I think you can see it in the above photo. Otherwise this pretty billfold is MINT.

The box says Originals by Billpack, Artisans in Leather.

Vintage 1950s Alois Carigiet Book Print Florina

Florina and the Wild bird by Chonz written in 1952. The back of each print has a printed paper that gives the Author, Illustrator and Published by Henry Z Walck of New York.
Shows staple holes but is in overall better condition although not mint. The print is excellent as far as I can tell but I am NOT an expert.

Vintage 1950s Hand Beaded Velvet Christmas Stockings

Matching Christmas Stockings are made of red velvet and beaded. They ech have 8 jingle bells on the foot, and faux fur trim. Fully lined. The names Floy and Roy are beaded across the top. If the names need to be removed you can simply clip the threads that they are beaded on.

Vintage 1950s Garden Wheelbarrow Planter Pattern

By A Neely Hall Craft pattern Number 405. Little space is needed for this lovely barrow, for even its handles support plant shelves. The barrow wheel was jig sawed out of plywood, with a coreopsis petal for a cut out motif. The barrow was built of redwood, but pine or other wood may be used. The fourteen pot openings in the barrow bed are of several diameters to accommodate pots of different sizes.

Mailed from the Los Angeles Times Pattern Department on 9-23-58. This Mid Century craft project is perfect for the suburban patio or front porch.

All patterns are checked to insure they are complete. Any flaws or missing pieces will be noted.

VINTAGE GLADIOLA FLOUR UNIFORM STYLE CAP

vintage home made uniform style cap for Gladiola Flour. I believe the cap was made by a long time friend’s wife for him to wear to work at the local Gladiola flour mill here in Sherman Texas. Cap is in great condition with no tears or stains. I don’t think the former owner got around to wearing this one! Cap measures about 12" in length and about 6" high. It fits me and I wear a 7 1/8" cap or hat. Great collectors item.

VINTAGE U.S.ARMY AIR FORCE PERRIN FIELD TX PILLOW COVER

Listed is a vintage pillow cover from Perrin Field located near Sherman Texas. Cover is stamped, U.S.Army Air Force. Perrin Field Sherman Texas. The stamping is almost gone, but barely still visible along with a poem titled Sweetheart. Color is a fades red, or bronze and has gold fringe. The fringe is loose on the lower right corner and the upper left along with an edge tear in the same area. A couple of small holes, pin head size on the back side. Measures about 16" x 18".

The mat is bent and has some edge damage as well as what looks like staple holes. The print itself is bright and colorful but does show some foxing.
