PDF 4709 Vintage 1940s Knitting Pattern 2 Piece Ribbed Dress
PDF 4709 Vintage 1940s Knitting Pattern 2 Piece Ribbed Dress circa 1947

Wide rib pattern on the jacket and reverse stockinette on the skirt, and wind up with a clever contrast trim which gives that extra flip to this sweet model. To create contrast, the yoke band, starting at front and running across the sleeves and back, is done in the skirt color, and the blouse color is used for two rows of embroidered chain stitching on the skirt ribbing. Covered crochet buttons and folded band around the front edges are other notes of interest.

Sized for 14, 16, 18 (Vintage Sizes)

Materials needed:
10-12 1 oz skeins of color A for jacket
15017 1 oz skeins of color B for Skirt.
Knitting needles No 1 and No 2
circular needle No 2
Steel crochet hook No 4
Seam binding to match
